The Anchored Parent
UPCOMING EVENTS:
The Anchored Parent is a small, live, reflective group designed to help parents feel calmer, more confident in decisions, and more connected to your children—and yourself.
This is not a parenting class.
It’s not advice-giving or behavior management.
And it’s not about fixing yourself.
It is a supportive, science-informed space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, strengthen the attuned presence that supports both you and your child, and experience meaningful connection with other parents who understand the reality of this season.
What We’ll Focus On
Over six weeks, we’ll explore:
Week 1 | Dropping Anchor: Moving from autopilot to awareness. Learn simple techniques to steady yourself beforeyou respond to your child.
Week 2 | Steady Under Pressure: A deep dive into the nervous system. Understand why parenting stress isn't a failure and how to regulate in real moments.
Week 3 | The Safe Harbor: Focus on attunement and repair. Discover how calm presence—not perfection—builds lasting security and resilience.
Week 4 | Lightening the Load: Unpacking time, energy and "invisible labor." Learn to toss overboard the unrealistic standards that drain your energy and design days that work with your family’s unique rhythm.
Week 5 | Navigating the Fog: Cutting through guilt and comparison. Reconnect with your unique family values and trust your own parenting "North Star."
Week 6 | Setting Sail: Integration and ritual. Create a sustainable wellbeing plan to carry your anchored confidence forward.
Each session includes gentle grounding, evidence-based teaching, individual reflection, and optional group discussion. There’s no pressure to share, no need to arrive calm, and no expectation to have it all figured out.
